This print is a depiction of my Grandmother. She is in the center with the owl as her spirit helper. I felt it was important to acknowledge all her years of fishing so I put the salmon on the left. On the right are the flowers she loved. They represent the little white forest flowers that grow in the spring. I think that it is important to respect and honour our elders and this is one way I could do that. – Angela Marston
